You kind of missed the point on my comment didn't you? Ratings are based on the individual systems current capabilities, they are not based on other games. Thats why you can have a launch title that gets a 10/10 on graphics, but later, another title gets the same rating at the end of the systems life cycle, and those those graphics will be much better than the launch title...different system capabilities at different times.
Game ratings are based on the individual systems current capabilities. Ratings are never meant to compare different systems. It's NOT a 9.5 based on the PC/360 version, it's a 9.5 based on the PS3's current capabilities (which in time may improve). Thats why back in the day, SNES and Genesis would get the same rating (or very close) on the same game, but typically the SNES version was better, because it was the "better" system...clear?
That is one of the dumber statements I've heard on this site...and I've heard many. So you're saying Bethesda created an entirely new Oblivion thats identical to previous releases in one year without using their previous PC software for help...huh...I'll be damned...who knew.
The latest issue of Game Informer said they are "nearly identical, but if anything the Xbox 360 has a slight edge graphically."
I haven't seen the PS3 version myself, but I'm sure they're too damn close to call. But with the extra year of programming time, you'd think the PS3 should out shine the 360 by a long shot...but no.
Companies are in business to make money...money comes because of sales...the sales are at Xbox 360. You cant blame Capcom.
Final Fantasy IS a great reason to buy a system, and as of NOW (I emphasize "now" because it could change) Squares next MMORPG is exclusive to PC and Xbox 360. So your argument seems to be pro Xbox.

Here is the original interview:
Just because of that, I can tell you're not a 12 year old gamer. I prefer to listen to gamers who've have been around a while, and I just added you to the list. Props mate!!!
Bioware has officially stated that they plan on making it a trilogy. HURRAY FOR BIOWARE!!!
I'm a big 360 fan, but I do think larger space is always a good thing. (thats a pro PS3 comment everyone) However, there are a lot more things wrong with the PS3 then the Blu-ray. You can MAYBE argue with John Carmacks standpoint, but Valve, come on...Valve's CEO said it best:
“The PS3 is a total disaster on so many levels, I think It’s really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted. I’d say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it a...
That's like saying Nintendo and Sega ripped off Atari because they decided to make consoles too. Or better yet, I guess Sony ripped off Atari too for getting in the console scene. Maybe Guild Wars ripped off World of Warcraft because they're both MMORPG's.
It's called business loser. I swear to Zeus, the stupidity of people drives me nuts sometimes.
Dusty comes along and kicks it up a notch. Cheers mate.
I LOVE you Natalie Portman pic, she is ultra sexy. Anyway, it is a cool cover. It's very retro. It reminds me of Phantasy Star II.
All the PS fans I work with now own 360's, and they no longer plan on getting a PS3. If Ghost Recon didn't convert them, Gear of War did.
Congrates on the first post. And I agree, 30 more hours of ESIV splendor is pure joy. This is looking good.
The Cell IS a great chip, so maybe it uses 25% of that, but I bet it uses 100% of it's GPU. The RSX just isn't that wonderful.
I get what you're saying. Valve and Epic have really upped the ante. However, have you seen the info and videos on Quake Wars? I think id Software will be right back up with the big boys once again. They ruled the 90's, and I think they'll come back strong this decade too.
Also, it's soooo credible coming from a SONY exec. hahhaha
